Public art

At my alma mater, every senior must write a TUTORIAL...gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. However, I learned a lot from the 9 month research project on public art funding in 20 US cities. Now every time I see public art I'm reminded of my tutorial. Today I ran across a blog that highlights some of the more impressive displays of public art. I believe that public art funding should be attached to every major building built, who doesn't want to see a bear peeking in a window or a blue road? Seriously...art adds a lot to our lives whether we want to believe or not. There are many people that would never see art because they won't go to museums, public art takes culture to the streets. I support it. Do you?
