it's getting to me...

Everything is getting to me...the crazy working combined with school has officially caught up. I think I have to leave Starbucks. I'm going to miss that 30% discount, but I will not miss having to worry about being scheduled 10 miles from my house for a 4 hour shift. I wouldn't even make enough to cover a tank of gas in that shift. I will have to find some other source of income this summer...hopefully I will.

I don't remember undergrad being this stressful. Probably because my mom worried about the money...how to spend it, how to not spend it, etc. Loans stink. Money stinks. It all stinks.

I have to take 2 classes this summer so that I can graduate next May. I have no idea how I'm going to pay for them. If I don't graduate by next May then I wouldn't have any kind of break between Library School and Law School. It isn't necessary but it sure would be nice.

I totally forgot an assignment for 520. It was just busy work...it was 3 PREs...it only adds up to 2 points. I'm not that concerned about, but I still don't want to make a bad impression on someone that I may need a recommendation from for Law School.

I think I want to do the Thesis option offered by my program...but they have nothing about it on the website. I'll talk to my advisor about (who is also my 520 prof). I would really like to look into different library's policies regarding privacy andi nformation. Two cities in this state have two very different policies. One keeps records of searches for patrons, one doesn't. Two completely different interpretations of the same law. I know one library that puts patron holds on the shelf for all to see...some wrap them up in brown paper...some put them in little plastic folder bins...some that do show the hold to the world have disclaimer letting the patron know everyone will know what they have on hold...some don't. Again...same state law regarding information, totally different interpretations.

My 524 professor is still MIA. Other people who have her for other online classes are saying the same thing: she's just not around online. But she IS on campus! Other students have seen her! Maybe she just doesn't have access to a computer at this time.... Or she's just not giving me my money's worth for this class. Thus the problem with an online education.
